Serenity Valley

A little "Peace" of paradise

The common room has a sitting area decorated with two comfy couches with recliners on both ends, a 36" TV, and large log table.  The floors are heated and an old fashioned gas stove adds a little extra warmth on chilly nights.  There is a full refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, waffle maker, Keurig, as well as cooking pots, plates, glasses, silverware and kitchen utensils. Bottles of water are provided as well as some condiments.

Outside the common area is a large patio with private areas to relax, a family sized table, picnic table, hanging pod chair, grill and fire pit for social gatherings. Nutting creek and the 1/4 acre goldfish pond are in full view from the patio.

Kayaks, a paddle board and inflatables are available for guests to use free on the large pond and catch and release fishing is also allowed (bring your own poles and bait). A variety of bluegill, sunfish, largemouth bass and catfish are stocked in the pond. There is also a dock and gazebo where guests can fish or relax.  A small sand beach borders the pond near the shelter and children can play with the provided sand toys or adults can sit in the adirondack chairs and relax with their toes in the sand.  The floating gazebo is attached to the dock and a treehouse with an attached slide into the water for kids under 12. A walking path is mowed around the big pond and another path leads to a wooded area and two other ponds.
